Almost There: Richardson City On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 3-2 Win

Game was big. So was Alberto Reyes.
The Richardson City starter rose to the occasion at Athletics Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Thundercats to a crucial 3-2 victory over the Athletic Club KC. Reyes threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball as the Thundercats won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Play-In.
Louis Gibbons, who was drafted in the three round of the 2023 draft, aided the Richardson City cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the second. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 4 with a double and was hit by a pitch.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Reyes told the Richardson City Citizen.
