MacKnight Sensational for BC
|
The Philadelphia 1776 BC got a strong performance from pitcher William MacKnight, who stymied the Grafton offense en route to a 1-0 win at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum. Carlos Ramos closed the game out for Philadelphia 1776, earning his 9th save. The BC bumped their record to 13-11 with this latest triumph.
MacKnight was in the zone all game. He frustrated Grafton hitters while giving the BC 8 innings of quality work. MacKnight threw 104 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," MacKnight told reporters after the game.
