Fans who gathered at The Cattle Pen saw a good contest between the D.C. Divided and Ft. Worth Cattlemen.

Getting a good performance from catcher Mario Castillo, the D.C. Divided defeated the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 5-3. Castillo was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Divided. D.C. starter José Alaniz was credited with the win after throwing 131 pitches over 8.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Roberto Silva finished the game for D.C. and earned his 2nd save.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Castillo hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Divided into the lead, 3-1.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth.

At 7-3, the Divided have played well so far.
