Grafton rode a fine outing from starter António Muńóz to victory over the Greenville 84s at 84s Field. The final score was 2-1. Muńóz went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-0. The Middies, now 5-1, have stormed out of the gates.

The Middies got a big at-bat from first baseman Mario Ramos. For the game, Ramos went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Grafton a 2-0 lead.
