It was a good time at The Thunder Dome, where fans came to watch the Chicago Gold Sox and Richardson City Thundercats get after it.
Richardson City right-hander Juan Valéncia pitched his team to victory over the Chicago Gold Sox at The Thunder Dome. The final score was 6-1. Cordell Wilson, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities.
Bruce Ingilby went 2 for 4 with 2 singles for Richardson City. The 26-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Rafael García. It was his 28th RBI of the season.
Ingilby called the triumph "a good team win."
