The Wizarding Express eked out a 5-4 win versus the Richardson City Thundercats at Platform 9 3/4. Nobody did more than pitcher Kenny Koehler, who captured player of the game honors. Juan Cantú picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. José Montalópez was tagged with the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Wizarding.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Wizarding trailing 4-3, Salvador Trevino jumped on a 2-1 fastball from José Montalópez for a 2-run home run, sending the Express to a walk-off win.

"Not to put too fine a point on it," said Koehler, "but we really needed that win."
