Big Day for Gibbons as Thundercats Down Rangers, 8-4
|
A 4-RBI performance from Louis Gibbons, who is rated as the 49th best prospect by BNN, helped the Richardson City Thundercats beat the Austin Rangers, 8-4. Kaluka Wene was the winning pitcher. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Cordell Wilson earned the save, his 1st.
Gibbons had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Thundercats went on to win.

Richardson City is now 49-50.
