The Phoenix Hotspur got a sterling performance from pitcher Jaime van de Weideven, but the Thundercats still prevailed, 5-1. van de Weideven was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Richardson City is now 45-46.
