Rainbow Mermaids Reel Off Another Win
|
Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids starter Natalino Golaio was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Boston Patriots, 7-1. The Patriots, now 46-34, have lost 5 straight.
Alfredo Pizarro helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring triple to give Northern Virginia a 1-0 lead.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Pizarro.
