Richardson City Thundercats starter Francisco López was in fine form against the Brooklyn Dodgers at The Thunder Dome, leading his team to a 5-3 win. The Thundercats saw their win-loss record go to 39-36. At the same time, the Dodgers fell to 35-40.
Richardson City took a 5-3 lead on Anselmo Berneu's 23rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Brooklyn pitcher Sjaak Bonne in the bottom of the tenth.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Berneu. "And not try to do too much."
