Red Knights Walk It Off for 44th Win of Season
The Capital District Red Knights topped the Buckhead Bowties, 8-7, in Menard's Third League action at Capital Grounds. The player of the game was Capital District second baseman José Paz. Capital District reliever Bob Roth was credited with the win, to go to 10-4. Kyle Buckman took the loss for Buckhead. Buckhead's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

Arnold Giroux was the walk-off hero for Capital District. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Knights third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Giroux. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
