Toledo right-hander Francis McBride helped his team edge Chicago by the score of 2-1. McBride kept the opposing lineup in check. An Jang-Yop, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save. With the win, the Stingers have a record of 37-37.
Ken Little made it 2-0 in favor of Toledo when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with two out in the top of the tenth. The Stingers went on to win.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Toledo manager TJ Reynolds said.
