Flamingos Fall to Dutchmen, 5-1
|
New Amsterdam starter Lorenzo Fabián pitched effectively against the Las Vegas Flamingos at The Strip. The right-hander led his team to a 5-1 win. New Amsterdam is now 31-32. Las Vegas is 45-18.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the bottom of the sixth inning, but Fabián was able to pitch out of a jam. With a runner on 3rd and Las Vegas trailing 2-1, Fabián retired Rodney Usry, who grounded out.
