Getting a good performance from first baseman Michael Neely, the Toledo Stingers defeated the Buckhead Bowties, 8-1. Neely went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Stingers. The win puts the Stingers at 31-27, while the Bowties drop to 25-33.
Héctor Rivera, who is rated as the 75th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Toledo cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a walk.
