The Evergreens faced a stiff challenge from New Amsterdam pitcher Walt Coffman, but persevered to claim a win at Evergreen Park. The final score was 3-2. Coffman went 8 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Roberto Calderón earned the win to go to 7-0. He allowed 2 earned runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 1 strikeout. The Evergreens improved to a lofty 35-13.
