Late Rally by Red Knights Seals 4th Straight Win
|
Behind a solid performance from third baseman Danilo Mosca, the Capital District Red Knights defeated the Chicago Hawks, 5-4. Mosca went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Red Knights. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Red Knights.
Mosca had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a 3-1 fastball from Benny York, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the Red Knights a 5-4 lead. It was the 21st hit of the year for Mosca.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Mosca.
