Castro Dazzles in New Amsterdam Win
|
New Amsterdam Dutchmen starter Pedro Castro was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Houston 1837 BBC, 3-0. Glenn Butler earned the save, his 8th, for the Dutchmen. New Amsterdam is now 21-17, Houston 15-23.
The 1837 BBC had trouble solving Castro, who surrendered no earned runs on 5 hits over 8 innings.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Castro said after the game.
