Sánchez Sensational for Patriots
|
Lúcio Sánchez never let the Thundercats get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his change up, to pitch the Patriots to a 6-0 win. At 32-21, Boston is in third place in the Premier League.
Sánchez was in the zone all game. He frustrated Richardson City hitters while giving the Patriots 8 innings of quality work. Sánchez threw 114 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Sánchez, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
