Patriots Turn Back Brooklyn, 3-2
|
Boston pitcher Jesús Franco did his part in helping his team beat the Brooklyn Dodgers, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Boston is off to a hot start at 3-1.
Timmy Appeldoorn didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run double to put Boston on top, 2-0.
"We did enough to win," said Appeldoorn.
