Martínez Slugs Thundercats to 9-6 Win
A 7-RBI performance from Tomás Martínez, who leads the PL with a 1.032 OPS, helped the Richardson City Thundercats beat the Boston Patriots, 9-6. Richardson City reliever Héctor Alarcon was credited with the win, to go to 4-0. Jorge Aguirre took the loss for Boston. Richardson City now sits at 23-13, while Boston falls to 23-13.

Richardson City took a 9-6 lead on Martínez's 14th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Doug Carlton in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Richardson City to the win.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Martínez.
