Dominant Performance by Coffman in New Amsterdam Win
|
The New Amsterdam Dutchmen got a strong performance from pitcher Walt Coffman, who stymied the Houston offense en route to a 4-0 win at Dutch Master Park. The Dutchmen bumped their record to 13-9 with this latest triumph.
The 1837 BBC had trouble solving Coffman, who surrendered no earned runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Coffman told the New Amsterdam Observer.
