Grafton catcher Jorge Flores was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Flores, who is tied for 3rd in the SL with a .406 on-base percentage, went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Middies. Kenete Daku converted his 5th save in 5 tries. Grafton is now 55-48.

Pedro Santos, who is tied for 8th in the SL with a .314 batting average, aided the Grafton cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.

"Feels good to get the job done," Santos said after the game.
