BC Lose to Northern Lions BC, 3-2
|
William MacKnight pitched well, but the Philadelphia 1776 BC still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum. With the win, Thunder Bay has a record of 48-54. Philadelphia 1776 falls to 49-53.
Keith Fish drove in one run for Thunder Bay. The 28-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off William MacKnight. It was his 29th RBI of the season.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Fish told reporters after the game.
