Wood Pitches Ottawa to Shutout Victory Friday, May 21st, 2027 The Glendale Herons were almost helpless today in their 7-0 loss to Ottawa hurler Theodore Wood. He kept them confused the entire ballgame and spun a 3-hit shutout. The Glendale manager said in the postgame interview, "Tip your hat to Wood. He kept us off balance all night." Wood said, "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play.
