Springfield's Freska Elbows His Way to 3AA Award Thursday, October 7th, 2027 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Atila Freska performed like a veteran on the hill for the Springfield Shooters and walked away with the M3L Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process. The 24-year-old Shooters star fashioned a 12-4 won-loss record in 2027 with a 2.40 ERA. In 146 innings of work and 20 starts, Freska struck out 118 while giving up 124 hits and 41 walks. He held opposing batters to a .233 average. José Guillén of the Glendale Herons finished second in voting, while Ma Hon Keung of the Glendale Herons finished third. |
