Orihvela goes 3-for-5 to Pull Seawolves to .500

Long Island beat Richland, 7-3. The win in part was due to second baseman José Orihvela, who nabbed player of the game honors. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Long Island is now 46-46, Richland 43-49.
Orihvela had a game-changing single in the top of the fifth. On a 1-0 fastball from Paco Manuel, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Seawolves a 1-0 lead. It was the 15th hit of the year for Orihvela.
Orihvela told the Long Island News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
