|
The Casper Ghosts scored a 3-1 win versus the Long Island Seawolves at Ballpark of Remsen. Casper pitcher Valentín Robles nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Tadayoshi Tanaka picked up the save for Casper, his 4th of the year. The slumping Seawolves have lost 7 straight.
Robles imposed his will on the Seawolves, scattering 5 hits over 7.2 innings while striking out 11. The right-hander upped his season record to 7-6.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Long Island manager Matt Helsley. "The effort was great."
