Thunder Hawks Deal Ghosts Painful Loss
Benefiting from the performance of Jorge Flores, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the Casper Ghosts, 10-9. Flores went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Thunder Hawks. Ft. Polk South reliever Billy Grange picked up the win to move to 5-1. Ángelo Román suffered the loss. The Thunder Hawks improve their record to 34-38 with the win over Casper.

The Thunder Hawks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when right fielder Peter Agulera turned a 3-1 fastball from Ángelo Román into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Ft. Polk South a thrilling 10-9 win.

"We swung the bats pretty good throughout the lineup," said Ft. Polk South skipper Howard Martínez.
