Thunder Hawks Take 10-0 Pounding
|
The Richland Rails picked up a win at Rails Ballpark, knocking off the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 10-0. On the mound for Richland was right-hander Gary Kellenberger, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Thunder Hawks have now dropped 5 straight.
A defensive miscue in the bottom of the first could have cost the Rails. With Richland leading 1-0, Christian Gentry reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 2 runs. In the end, Richland was still able to win the ballgame.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Gentry.
