Rails Pin 7-4 Loss on Herons
|
Daniel Maldonado had a good game, even if his team, the Glendale Herons, did not. Glendale dropped a 7-4 decision to Richland at Heron Field. With the win, the Rails have a record of 12-10.
Havana, Cuba-born Miguel Luna came through in the clutch. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded and the Rails trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Richland on top.
Luna told the Richland Herald: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
