Morín Delivers Walk-Off Win for Thunder Hawks
|
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks topped the Richland Rails, 6-5, with Keith Bane playing a big role. Bane was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Thunder Hawks in the win. The win leaves Ft. Polk South with a record of 9-9.
José Morín was the walk-off hero for Ft. Polk South. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Ft. Polk South shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"The vibe's good," said Ft. Polk South manager Howard Martínez. "We've got to keep it going."
