With shortstop Manuel García leading the charge, the San Bernardino Grasshoppers defeated the Casper Ghosts, 10-0, at Field of the Grasshoppers. García was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. San Bernardino, now 7-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.

García came through with some timely hitting for San Bernardino. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the first and two down, García hit a 0-1 changeup for a 2-run single. It was his 6th hit of the season -- and a big reason the Grasshoppers managed to win.

"We found a way to get it done," García said.
