Grasshoppers Walk It Off for 5th Win of Season
San Bernardino Grasshoppers starter Juan Hernández pitched a strong game against the Atlantic City Sonics at Field of the Grasshoppers, leading the Grasshoppers to a 4-3 win. Héctor Valentín got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. San Bernardino, now 5-3, has played well in the early going.

Jaime López was the walk-off hero for San Bernardino. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the San Bernardino right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We put together a nice win," Hernández said.
