Bradshaw 3-5 as Rails Squeeze Past Ft. Polk South
The Richland Rails put one in the win column on Opening Day at Rails Ballpark. The Rails defeated the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 10-5. Richland designated hitter Michael Bradshaw was instrumental in his team's success. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Paco Manuel earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 5 earned runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.

Bradshaw had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the third. On a first pitch splitter from Delano Turnipseed, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Rails a 4-1 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Bradshaw.
