Farmers Chill Tucker's Hot Streak Sunday, July 26th, 2026 The Phoenix Hotspur Youth lost to the Lancaster Farmers 3-2 today at Grenadiers Ballpark, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Carl Tucker's 21-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Tucker, we would win the game," the Farmers manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." For the season Tucker is batting .302 with 77 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 31 times and batted in 36. |
