Encarnación on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, June 1st, 2026 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Augusto Encarnación of the Lancaster Farmers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Encarnación rocked opposing pitching for a .556 average (10-for-18), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season Encarnación is hitting .333, batted in 5 runs with no home runs and 14 runs scored. |
