August's SAA Batter of Month Award Announced Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 When Locke Lamora stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the USSL Double A Batter of the Month award. The young Marquette shortstop posted a .418 batting average with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Lamora also worked pitchers for 8 walks to post a .461 on-base percentage. This year Lamora is hitting at a .315 pace with 8 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 65 games and scored 38 times. |
