Ulibarri Shines in Gem Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 The Gwinnett County Black Cats struggled at the plate today against Blaze hurler Leoncio Ulibarri, who shackled them on 4 hits while hurling a complete game 5-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Black Cats skipper in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Ulibarri finished the game with 11 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," his manager said. "Leoncio made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
