Rawhides Lose, 5-4, at Farmers Field

The Lancaster Farmers and Belvedere Park Rawhides obliged those fans who came to Farmers Field hoping for an exciting game.
José Pérez had a good game, but he could not keep the Belvedere Park Rawhides from falling, 5-4, to the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field. The Belvedere Park center fielder went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk in the loss. Raúl Nieto nailed down his 10th save.
In the bottom of the 5th, the Farmers grabbed the lead on a two-out home run by Alfredo Sánchez. Lancaster at the time was trailing 4-3, but Sánchez's 2-run home run off Damien Scudder put his team in front.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Sánchez said.
The 6th-place Farmers now have a win-loss record of 46-55.
