Durham center fielder Sean Godron played a vital role in his team's 6-5 triumph over Lancaster. He went 2-3 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks for Durham. Durham reliever Dave Seals picked up the win to move to 2-3. Raúl Nieto suffered the loss. The third-place Rapiers now have a 4-game winning streak.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth. That's when Durham third baseman Anthony Hopkins, facing Raúl Nieto, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Rapiers the 6-5 win.

"I felt good up there," said Godron. "I saw the ball well."
