Youth Take Tight Tilt
|
The Phoenix Hotspur Youth went home winners at Grenadiers Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Loeck Visser. Visser silenced the Chesapeake Continentals, enabling Phoenix Hotspur to grab the 4-0 win. Phoenix Hotspur has a 5-game win streak, while Chesapeake has lost 3 in a row.
Kenny Scott contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped Phoenix Hotspur get the win.
"This team is real focused right now," said Phoenix Hotspur Youth manager David Márquez.
