Continentals Walk Off with Win
The Chesapeake Continentals defeated the Lancaster Farmers, 4-3, in USSL Double A action at Chesapeake Grounds, with Chesapeake pitcher Dave Stephenson named player of the game. The Continentals saw their win-loss record go to 31-27. At the same time, the Farmers fall to 27-31.

Ken Sandoval was the walk-off hero for Chesapeake. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Chesapeake designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"I really like what we did out there today," Sandoval said after the game.
