Farmers Dump BC, 4-1

The San Antonio BC and Lancaster Farmers provided some drama at Farmers Field.
The Lancaster Farmers got a stellar performance from pitcher Santiago López, who handcuffed the San Antonio offense en route to a 4-1 win at Farmers Field. López was the winning pitcher and moves to 1-3. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. Alejandro López closed the game out for Lancaster, earning his 2nd save.
Alfredo Sánchez, the Lancaster first baseman, contributed a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 3-0, Farmers. For the game, Sánchez went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Sánchez said after the game.
The Farmers, at 24-27, sit in 7th place in the Silver AA.
