Farmers Pull Back to .500 with Win over Ghosts
The Lancaster Farmers turned back the Casper Ghosts, 4-3, at The Graveyard. Alejandro Garza was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. Raúl Nieto was credited with the save for Lancaster, his 3rd of the season. The Farmers saw their win-loss record go to 22-22. At the same time, the Ghosts fall to 16-28.

Garza came through with some timely hitting for Lancaster. With the score 2-0 in the top of the third and two down, Garza hit a 1-0 changeup for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Farmers managed to win.
