The Bethesda Atoms and Phoenix Hotspur Youth obliged those fans who came to Atoms Field hoping for an exciting game.

Bethesda left-hander Mike Foltynewicz pitched his team to victory over the Phoenix Hotspur Youth at Atoms Field. The final score was 5-4. Foltynewicz went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 11 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 4-3. Ashweather Cett earned the save for Bethesda, his 2nd of the year.

Marc Beck, the Bethesda center fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 4-2, Atoms. For the game, Beck went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.

"I felt good up there," said Beck. "I saw the ball well."

The Atoms go to 21-23, putting them 8th in the Silver AA.
