Durham Rapiers starter Mack MacDonald was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Chesapeake Continentals, 6-5. Durham is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Durham took control in the top of the eighth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, António Díaz hit a run-scoring single to make it 6-5, Rapiers.

"It was a solid team effort," said MacDonald after the game.
