Ghosts Fall to BC, 4-3
|
San Antonio starter Marc Morgan pitched effectively against the Casper Ghosts at San Antonio Field. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Morgan got the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Morgan allowed 2 earned runs. The BC, with just their 4th win in 15 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
A defensive miscue in the bottom of the seventh could have cost the BC. With San Antonio leading 3-2, Yoshihito Samurakami reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. In the end, San Antonio was still able to win the ballgame.
"A great game, a great day," said Morgan about the win. "I can't complain."
