"Getting ahead of the hitters is the key," said Taylor.

The San Antonio BC picked up a win at San Antonio Field, knocking off the Casper Ghosts, 7-3. Starting pitcher Michael Taylor played a key role in the triumph. The BC have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 3rd win in 14 games.

Tied up with the Ghosts in the bottom of the seventh, the BC got a boost from catcher Yoshihito Samurakami. With a runner on 2nd, Samurakami saw a 1-1 sinker from Valentín Robles and hit a run-scoring double to break the stalemate and put San Antonio on top, 4-3.

"I felt good even in the late innings," said Taylor after the game.
