Express Get One-Run Win at Grafton
The Wizarding Express dealt the Grafton Middies a 5-3 loss at Field of the Middies. Carlos Ortega was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Enrico Reséndez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-3. Jeff Hale was tagged with the loss. Jackson Haines, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 15th save.

Ortega had a game-changing single in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 slider from Truman Valentine, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Express a 5-3 lead. It was the 28th hit of the year for Ortega.

"It feels good to get this one," Ortega told the Wizarding Citizen.

Wizarding goes to 60-31, Grafton to 45-46.
