Thrilling Walk-Off Win for 1837 BBC
A 5-RBI performance from the 26-year old catcher Jason Alexander helped the Houston 1837 BBC beat the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-3. Francisco Valdés, credited with the win, is now 5-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Houston now sits in 4th place in the Division II at 45-42.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Alexander hit a fastball from Asher Spivey for a grand slam home run. The 1837 BBC, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Alexander described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
